Hello Fellow Leadership Plenty Trainers,
Anyone started the Leadership Plenty Program yet? If so how is it going? We are in the planning stages right now. We are in the process if getting the word out about Horizons and Leadership Plenty, so we can get more people involved. We hope to have 35 people signed up by the end of April. I would love to hear how it is going for everyone. Let's get this Blog rockin!!!!
We had our first Leadership Plenty training session on April 21st at Sanborn Central. We did have to knock off a little early because of tornado warnings, but the presenters did an excellent job. I am looking forward to the next session!
Horizons offers small rural communities a chance to take action in building a strong leadership base to address difficult issues such as poverty, economic decline and youth leaving the area. The program is available for communities with less than 5000 people and a 10% or greater poverty rate. It is designed for communities ready to commit to gathering citizens and working toward positive change.
For Community Members
This blog is your space to share ideas, network with other Horizons communities and report your community's progress and successes. You can add stories, share photos or ask questions.
