Great Start in Frederick

The community of Frederick is off to a great start with their Kick Off that was held on Tuesday, January 30th. 86 people from the town of 250 came to Little John's for social hour, supper and the Kick Off program. Nearly half of those in attendance signed up for Study Circles.

Jerome Ferson, publisher of the Aberdeen American News was the guest speaker for the evening. He spoke about the importance of communities working together to tackle tough issues like population decline, jobs and quality housing.

Great job Frederick! Good luck as you begin your Study Circles!

Cheryl: Thanks a million for coming to Fredrick and doing such a fabulous job in introducing Study Circles to our town. Kari was also a tremendous asset, and we so appreciate her attendance and excitement about what we're doing. We have our Circles set up and look forward to having our first meeting with you on February 8. Bless you. Shirley Anderson, Study Circle Facilitator, Frederick
